In the next couple of years numerous measures will be taken to improve flood protection in the area between the villages Ooijen and Wanssum (North Limburg): The Old Maasarm will be reactivated, dikes are shifted and broadened and two high water channels will be constructed. In Wanssum the existing port will be expanded and a ring road will be constructed.

Currently, the planning & engineering of the project is taking place. GTO supports the project team in the area of process management, with particular attention being given to managing the interfaces between the various project tracks (engineering, urban development, environmental management and contracting)
